Memphis Men Of Harmony

We are the Multi-Award Winning, Memphis Men Of Harmony. We are a group of male singers dedicated to the preservation and encouragement of Barbershop Harmony singing in the greater community - with a strong emphasis on youth programs. Our chapter was established in 1946. We take great pride in representing the International Barbershop Harmony Society locally. It is an amazingly great time to be a part of The Memphis Chorus. With two recent District Championships and an appearance at the 2008 International Competation in Nashville, we are truly taking our chorus to a new level of Barbershop singing. Our chorus is currently rated amoung the top 2% of choruses world-wide. We are one of over 800 chapters in North America who get together once a week to sing and enjoy the wonderful fellowship that happens when we set aside our everyday concerns and let the music fill our hearts and minds. Barriers break down, stress melts away, and lasting friendships are forged. We laugh a lot and we work hard too - preparing for performances throughout the year.

We meet every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm at Harmony Hall, located in the Poplar Plaza Shopping Center at the Northwest corner of Poplar Avenue and Highland. Come join us! No, you don't have to have any type of Barbershop singing experience. You don't even have to read music. All you need is a love for music and a willingness to try.
